Shipping Policy

At MechMaxx Tools, we strive to get your heavy-duty equipment to you as quickly and safely as possible. Because we specialize in industrial-sized machinery, our shipping process differs from standard parcel delivery. Please review our policy details below.

 

1. Free Shipping Coverage

 

We are proud to offer FREE standard shipping to the 48 contiguous states in the USA.

  • Excluded Regions: At this time, we do not offer free shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or international destinations. For a custom shipping quote to these areas, please contact our support team.

 

2. Strategic Warehouse Locations

 

To minimize transit times, we fulfill orders from four major hubs across the country:

  • Ontario, California

  • Jersey City, New Jersey

  • Bolingbrook, Illinois

  • Farmers Branch, Texas Your order will typically ship from the warehouse closest to your delivery address, subject to stock availability.

 

3. Processing & Delivery Timelines

  • Order Processing: Most orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Please note that during high-demand seasons or for fraud prevention, processing may take longer.

  • Transit Time: Once your order leaves our facility, delivery typically takes 13–28 business days.

  • Remote Areas: Deliveries to remote or rural locations may take up to 28 business days.

4. Freight & LTL Delivery (Important)

Because our products (like sawmills and excavators) are heavy, they are shipped via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) Freight.

  • Appointment Required: The carrier will contact you via the phone number provided at checkout to schedule a delivery window.

  • Liftgate Service: While shipping is free, Liftgate Service is an optional paid add-on. If you do not have a loading dock or a forklift/tractor with forks at your delivery site, you must select "Liftgate Service" at checkout to ensure the driver can lower the equipment to the ground.

  • Site Accessibility: Delivery is performed by large 26–53 ft freight trucks. Your delivery site must be accessible to these vehicles. If a truck cannot reach your location, you may be required to meet the driver at a nearby accessible point or pick up the item from the local carrier terminal.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email.

  • Standard Tracking: Most orders include a tracking number that can be used on the carrier's official website.

  • Manual Updates: For certain specialized carriers, tracking may be updated manually in your MechMaxx account dashboard.

6. Receiving Your Shipment

Inspection is mandatory. Before signing the Bill of Lading (BOL) provided by the driver:

  1. Check the packaging for any visible damage (cracks, punctures, or bent frames).

  2. If damage is found, note it clearly on the BOL before the driver leaves.

  3. Take photos of the packaging and the product.

  4. Report any damage to MechMaxx within 24–48 hours to ensure a smooth insurance claim.

7. Cancellations

  • Before Shipment: Orders canceled before they are handed to the carrier may incur a 3% processing fee.

  • After Shipment: If you cancel an order that is already in transit or refuse a delivery for non-quality reasons, you will be responsible for the outbound freight cost ($300–$1,200) and a 15% restocking fee.
