Refund Policy

At MechMaxx Tools, we stand behind the quality of our machinery. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Please read our policy below to understand the process for returns, exchanges, and refunds.

1. Return Period

Any product purchased from MechMaxx Tools is eligible for a return or exchange within 30 days of the shipment date.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:

  • Condition: Items must be in new, unused condition and in their original packaging.

  • Authorization: You must obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) before sending any items back. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

  • Exclusions: Opened consumable products (e.g., sandpaper, epoxy) and "Special Order" items are not eligible for return.

3. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Step 1: Request Authorization Email our support team at sales@mechmaxxtools.com  must include:

  • Your Order Number.

  • Photos or videos of the product (required to verify condition or damage).

  • The reason for the return.

Step 2: Repackaging (Critical)

  • Drain Fluids: Federal Law requires that all machines utilizing gasoline or oil be completely drained before shipment. Gas caps and oil plugs must be left off for 24 hours prior to sealing the package.

  • Secure the Item: Use original packaging. If the product arrived on a pallet, it must be secured to a pallet of the same footprint, strapped down, and covered with cardboard or plastic.

Step 3: Shipping Once approved, we will provide instructions for the return. For customer-initiated returns (change of mind), you are responsible for arranging and paying for return freight.

4. Fees and Refund Deductions

For returns caused by customer-initiated reasons (e.g., "no longer needed" or "wrong item ordered"), the following will be deducted from your final refund:

  • Payment Processing Fee: 3% of the total order.

  • Restocking Fee: 15% of the purchase price.

  • Freight Costs: Both the original outbound shipping cost (typically $300–$1,200) and the return shipping cost.

5. Damaged or Defective Items

If your product arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect:

  • Report Immediately: Visible damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading (BOL) at the time of delivery and reported to us within 24–48 hours.

  • Resolution: Once the damage/defect is confirmed via photos or video, MechMaxx Tools will repair the unit, provide replacement parts, or issue a full refund without deducting freight or restocking fees.

6. Exchanges

For the fastest service, we recommend:

  1. Placing a new order for the item you want.

  2. Returning the original item following the steps above.

  3. Once the original item is received and inspected at our warehouse, a refund will be issued to your account.

7. Refund Timeline

Once the item is received at our warehouse , it will be inspected within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 3–5 business days.
